Screw-and-nut gearing comprises a central screw member 1 which is engaged by circular beads 210 on three circumferentially spaced rollers 21 rotatably mounted on axles carried by a rotor 2. The roller axes are arranged parallel to each other and inclined at an angle #, Fig. 3 (not shown), to the rotor axis. The rollers 21 are mounted by means of ball bearings 32 on adjustable eccentric portions 31 of trunnions 30 which are adjustably secured in cylindrical bores of the rotor 2 by radial screws 37. |
