PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a test result by positioning the 1st base plate for sealing one opening end of a cylindrical component and the 2nd base plate for sealing the other opening ends so that both base plates face each other, and fixing a device for pressure application and release and a manometer on the base plates. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical component 9 to be tested is placed on the 1st based plate 1, and the 2nd base plate 2 is further mounted thereupon. They are sealed with a proper O ring 8. A tie bolt 5 pierces the hole 22 in the center of the 2nd base plate and also pierces the hole 32 in the center of a blind patch in a figure as an example, sealing is performed with an O ring 8', and the whole is coupled with a cap nut 51. A hydraulic pressure valve 61 is opened to press in a pressurized fluid through a flow passage 6. The fluid from the internal space 10 of the cylindrical component 9 the space 20 between the 2nd base plate and blind patch, and a thrust in such a direction that the cylindrical component is clamped (downward in the figure) operates upon the 2nd base plate 2 according to the area of pressure reception. The manometer 7 is read and specific pressure is applied to perform a test.
