<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a bar code reader which is designed to avoid influence from misreading factors by resolving and integrating printing data into a mesh of (nXm), providing a threshold value and by cutting unnecessary parts. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be inspected such as a bar code reaches a measuring position, an object detection sensor 22 senses an object and sends a timing signal to a DMA interruption circuit 28. The DMA interruption circuit 28 transfers a hold signal to a CPU100, suspending the CPU100 for a while, and sends address data and light data to cause a picture RAM130 to store the data temporary. A picture of the inspected object 2 is received by a television camera 18, converted into digital by a binary circuit 14, and stored in the picture RAM130. At this moment, a synchronizing signal generation circuit 20 takes timing of the TV camera 18 and the circuit 28. After completion of taking in a picture, the DMA interruption circuit 28 sends an interruption signal to the CPU100 to actuate the CPU100.</p> |
