PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the exclusive control of the shared file by installing the file control device which stores the use condition of the device and registers the occupied execution order. CONSTITUTION:Four data processors 21, 22, 23 and 24 shares file groups 51, 52, 53, 58, 59 and 5A in the condition of the loose coupling. A data processor 21 gives the device information of a file access device 41 and a SEIZE UNIT command accompanied by the own host ID and task ID to a file control device 1. When the occupancy is permitted at the file control device 1, the data processor 21 selects either of file control device 31 or 32 and a file 51 is referred to and is newly processed. While a file 51 is processed, other data processor 22 gives the SEIZE UNIT command, and then, as a waiting condition, the execution order is registered in the registration table.
