<p>Each work roller in a carding machine comprises a tubular cylinder turning around a fixed shaft running from one side of the machine to the other, mounted on rotary supports at points within the width of the machine. Carding machine has a much greater width than traditional cards (3,500mm) and a high degree of precise control. There is a min of static dip or sag, without increasing the dia. of the cylinder or the work rollers. By supporting the rollers at points within the working width of the machine, the flexibility is limited within very close tolerances.</p> |
