PURPOSE:To prevent a leakage of gas out of a gas conduit through pin holes or cracks in the gas conduit even if they are found in the gas conduit by a method wherein gas is supplied under the gas pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure up to a part of a solid metallic pipe and the gas pressure is supplied less than an atmospheric pressure for a non-metallic pipe, for example, a rubber pipe or an indoor piping which may apt to cause a gas leakage to be occurred. CONSTITUTION:In case of a solid metallic pipe of an indoor piping, no leakage of gas may be found, so that in such a case, a pressure adjuster 13 is attached to a terminal end of the indoor piping 14. And the subsequent gas pressure is adjusted to a value less than an atmospheric pressur, the gas is drawn by a blower 18 and then fed to a gas burner 4. In case that the indoor pipint 14 is of a solid metallic pipe and a combustion unit is directly connected to the terminal end of this metallic piping, the pressure adjuster 13 is assembled in the combustion unit and then the leakage of gas in the combustion unit is eliminated. |
