PURPOSE:To eliminate uneven density between dots of a dot printer using a wire by making the waveform of current for energizing a magnet coil similar to the integral waveform of a dot printing command pulse. CONSTITUTION:A printing command pulse (c) at an input terminal 20 is converted into a reference waveform (integral waveform) (d) of a current to be applied to a magnet driving circuit for driving a wire with an integration circuit. The application of the reference waveform (d) to the magnet driving circuit makes it similar to the rising characteristic of energizing current for a magnet coil to reduce uneven density of printing between dots of a dot printer using a wire.
