WINDOW PANEL FIXING STRUCTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To fix a window panel easily without shifting against the pillar by restricting the end of bent formed in the window panel by means of a holding member secured to the pillar. CONSTITUTION:A holding member 9 is provided integrally with a retainer 6 for holding the base 7a of weather strip 7. Board member constructing the retainer 6 is bent to form bent sections 10, 11 and a fixing chip 13 to be fitted with a lip 12 for preventing suction of side window glass 8 is formed at the outside of bent section 11. Then the front window glass W is fitted in the front pillar 1 while the end 16 of the bent 2 of glass G is fitted in the bent section 11 of holding member 9. Only through restriction of the end 16 of bent 2 by means of holding member 9, the fixing position of glass G is set exclusively at regular position resulting in simplification of fixing work.
