The transportable, collapsible house has, in its collapsed state, the form of a container. The four longitudinal walls (11, 12, 13, 14) of the container are connected to one another by hinges (XIV) such that they can be folded into one plane and thus exclusively form the floor of the house. The other walls (16 to 22) and, if appropriate, ceiling and roof are rigidly mounted by special connecting elements. The possible area of the house is considerably greater than the area of the container, precisely four times the latter in the case of a container with a square cross-section. <IMAGE> |
