<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize rolling by preventing the meandering of a rolling material by memorizing the load difference and roll gap difference of a preceding material and applying these memorized values to the next rolling. CONSTITUTION:The thickness difference DELTAhdf of a rolling material 1 between an operating side WS and a driving side DS is obtained by detecting the roll gaps Sw, Sd and the rolling loads Pw, Pd at the side WS and the side DS equivalent to the no load time. The roll gap difference Sdf between the WS side and the DS side is controlled in accordance with the direction and quantity of the thickness difference DELTAhdf. At that time, a load difference and a roll gap difference detected after finishing the manual operation of the leveling rolling-reduction of a preceding material are memorized by memories 21, 22, and the next rolling material is controlled basing on the memorized values.</p> |
