PURPOSE:To obtain the compound function of an improvement over aerodynamic characteristics of an air spoiler and utilization of the direction and speed data of wind, by making the air spoiler of a body attached to the outer surface of a vehicle body and a wind detecting device for detecting the direction and speed of wind. CONSTITUTION:A front air spoiler 2 is composed of a front air spoiler body 21, a wind detector 6 disposed in the body 21 and a display device 7 disposed in the passenger's compartment 18 for displaying the direction and speed of wind which are detected by the wind detector 6. When the wind a blows from the front left direction, winds having wind speeds higher or lower than the wind A are introduced from ventilating ports 61A and 61B, respectively, the dynamic pressures of these two winds are introduced through dynamic pressure pipes 62a, 62b and are converted into a voltage by means of a yawmeter. Further, a computer 66 computes the direction and speed of wind, and as well a vector computation of the output of the computer 66 and the output of a vehicle speed sensor 28 is carried out, the result of which is displayed on a display board. |
