PURPOSE:To easily and accurately adjust the pose of a paper inserted through an inserting port, by a construction wherein at least a part of a paper guide provided between a platen and a paper-discharging stacker can be opened and closed in the direction of a paper-inserting port. CONSTITUTION:In the condition wherein the paper guide 10a is closed, a paper from the platen 1 is guided to the paper-discharging stacker 7, and in the condition wherein the guide 10a is opened, the paper from the platen 1 is guided into the inserting port 12 for a manually inserted paper. In the condition wherein the leading end of the paper is guided into the inserting port 12, the leading end and the trailing end of the papers are adjusted to overlap on each other, and the pose of the paper is corrected. After correcting the pose of the paper, the platen 1 is rotated counterclockwise to return the leading end of the paper to an initial printing position, and printing is started. |
