PURPOSE:To improve efficiency when the operation of the machine is started by employing a starting timer and reduce electric power consumption by a method wherein a control unit, which controls the capacity of a capacity variable compressor so that the capacity after starting by the starting timer becomes smaller than the same after a normal starting, is equipped in the machine. CONSTITUTION:After starting by a normal operating switch 12, the output frequency of an inverter 2 is controlled in accordance with a difference between a room temperature and a set temperature. During a predetermined period of time after starting by the starting timer 11, the output frequency of the inverter 2 is controlled in accordance with a value, in which a given correcting value is subtracted from the absolute value of the difference between the room temperature and the set temperature. This control is effected in accordance with a program memorized previously into an ROM in the control unit 8. |
