METHOD OF MOLDING ARTICLE MADE OF THERMOPLASTIC OR THERMOSETTING MATERIAL CONTAINING INSERT, APPLICATION THEREOF AND MOLD

The present invention relates to a method of moulding articles, especially the moulding of a sole of a shoe comprising a heel with a premoulded peripheral insert, this insert being integrated with the sole by the injected thermoplastic material forming the sole, and to a mould for performing the method. The method consists in using the insert (7) for controlling the spread of the flow of material injected into the cavity (8) of the mould in such a manner as to delay the material from coming into contact with the walls of the cavity of the mould, which are at a temperature accelerating the liquid-solid transformation of the injected material. In the case of manufacture of a sole, the injection channel opens into a channel (21) traversing the heel and the flow is deviated by the shank (20).
