PURPOSE:To provide a rubber composition having excellent processability and repeated stress fatigue resistance, and high hysteresis loss, and suitable as a vibration insulator, by adding a specific resin acid ester derivative and a reinforcing filler comprising carbon black to a rubber. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.(wt.) of a rubber (a diene rubber) with (B) 1-40pts., preferably 5-35pts. of a resin acid ester derivative having an acid value of <=80 and containing one or more hydroxyl groups in the esterified alkyl chain (e.g. tall rosin glycerol monoester, tall rosin pentaerythritol monoester, etc.) and (B) 10-200pts., preferably 30-150pts. of carbon black as a reinforcing filler. When the carbon black is used in a large amount, it is preferable to use the filler together with an extender oil. The composition may be incorporated with <=7pts. of sulfur or an organic peroxide as a crosslinking agent for rubber and a proper amount of other additives. |
