PURPOSE:To provide a printer with small type wheel and a simplified control circuit by linking a paper feed roller for feeding a printing paper and a paper feed ratchet with a spring clutch while a ratchet lever is turned with a projection provided at one end of a type wheel. CONSTITUTION:A type wheel 5 and a paper feeding mechanism are operated with a DC motor 37 and a paper feed roller 35 and a paper feed ratchet 68 are linked with a spring clutch. A ratchet lever 73 is turned through a projection 12 provided at one end of the type wheel 5 to disengage the paper feed ratchet 68. In this manner, a paper feed means for a printing paper can be driven without using an electric signal from the side of the control circuit. |
