PURPOSE:To stabilize a titled impregnant thermally and chemically and to increase the impregnated amount by mixing perlite and vermiculite together with sepiolite and water, thereafter molding and drying the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A porous material such as perlite and vermiculite obtained by heating a hydrated mineral is kneaded together with sepiolite composed essentially of magnesium silicate and water, and thereafter is molded. Then, after the mixture is dried, it is sintered at the temperature of 500-550 deg.C. |
