PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device capable of keeping the finished sheet-thickness of a material constant by controlling a different-speed ratio in accordance with the variation of rolling load by an AGC by gauge meter system while controlling the total sum of sheet thicknesses at the whole roll gap to a constant value in a multiroll different-speed rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:A rolling load F for a material 18 to be rolled is detected by a load cell 3. On the other hand, the total sum (h) of sheet thicknesses are calculated basing on the whole roll gap S0 detected by a position sensor 4, by utilizing the equations. The total sum (h) of sheet thicknesses is controlled to a constant value by performing the automatic sheet-thickness control of a closed loop with the aids of an amplifier 5, a servovalve 2, and a hydraulic cylinder 1, after comparing the total sum (h) with a reference value set by a sheet-thickness setter 6. Next, a rolling load F stored in a reference-value storing device 15 is compared with an actual load F' detected by the load cell 3 while controlling the total sum (h) to a constant value, and the different-speed ratios between work rolls WR2-4 are controlled through gain adjusters 10-12 and speed control devices 9a-9c so as to make the difference to be zero. In this way, the finished sheet thickness of material 8 is regulated to a constant value. |
