PURPOSE:To mount a thermal head accurately by a method wherein a guide hole is provided on a base plate of a thermal head and a platen shaft, positioned with a pair of guide jigs to be fitted thereinto and then, the base plate is secured on a support arm with a lock screw. CONSTITUTION:Guide jigs 14 and 14 are inserted into guide holes 12 and 13 provided on a base plate and positioned to match guide holes 10 and 11 of the platen shaft 9 turning it 9 and inserted thereinto to the full length. A heat generating resistor 3 provided on the base plate is centered with the platen roller 1. The base plate 2 is secured on a support arm 4 with a lock screw 6. |
