PURPOSE:To obtain a gap of a high accuracy by forming at least one of a front substrate and a rear substrate by a flexible material, and also forming a spacer by an adhesive agent and a particle of an insulating material in a necessary part by a thick film printing method. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed number of spacers 15 consisting of a particle 13 consisting of an insulating material of a glass ball, etc. and a contained adhesive agent 14 are formed in a position except a display dot part which has avoided a front electrode 10 and a rear electrode 12, on a front substrate 9 so as to join the front substrate 9 and a rear substrate 11, by a thick film printing method. The rear substrate 11 is laminated on this front substrate 9 so that the front electrode 10 and the rear electrode 12 are orthogonal to each other, and they are formed as one body by hardening the adhesive agent 14 in the spacer 15. In this case, since the rear substrate 11 is flexible, a gap of the front substrate 9 and the rear substrate 11 is formed by following a height of the particle 13 of the spacer 15. In this way, one substrate follows the particle, is bent and can form a gap, therefore, a gap of a high accuracy can be obtained easily. |
