PURPOSE:To avoid entailing operating stoppage in a steam generator and its steam discharge, by detecting motions in a cooling water spray valve, while leading steam into a condenser with a turbine bypass valve opened as long as a specified period of time when the spray valve fails to open normally. CONSTITUTION:In the where a turbine bypass valve 8c opens but a cooling water spray valve 11c fails to open normally, a contact 44 is made to be conducted, detecting the motion failure, and simultaneously a delay operating relay 46 is set in motion, driving a contact 47 after the elapse of a given period of time, whereby connection between a servo valve 59 of the turbine bypass valve 8c and a valve position control circuit 50 is set free, and the servo valve 59 is connected to a full-open signal generator 49 instead. Therefore, a total closed signal of the turbine bypass valve is inputted into the servo valve 59, therefore the valve 8c is fully closed at once and as for other valves 8c and 8b, the case is the same but these valves 8a, 8b and 8c in order are starting to open in regular sequence by each valve being set in a bias 51. |
