PURPOSE:To raise a copy processing in case when a jam is generated, by constituting so that an operation of a pre-stage picture recording body is stopped immediately even if a jam is generated in the pre-stage picture recording body, but an operation is continued in a post-stage picture recording body side, a both side copying, etc. are completed, paper is discharged, and thereafter, it is stopped. CONSTITUTION:In case when a jam is generated in a pre-stage image forming means 18a side when executing a both side copy processing, a copying operation of this pre-stage image forming means 18a side is stopped immediately by a detection of a jam sensor in the pre-stage image forming means 18a, and a jam processing for removing a jam paper is executed. As for a post-stage image forming means 18b side, its copying operation is not stopped but continued, a rear side copying is executed, and a both side copying is completed. Also, after this transfer paper 7a has been discharged to a discharge paper tray 55, etc., the operation of this post-stage image forming means 18b is stopped, and a jam processing is awaited. |
