PURPOSE:To permit a fundamental traveling without generating remarkable inconvenience by executing the speed change ratio control for a stepless speed change gear independently of the detection signal in anomaly when an anomaly is generated in the detection signal. CONSTITUTION:In case of anomaly where the correct signal corresponding to the engine load or the engine revolution number can not be obtained because of a cause, the speed change ratio of a stepless speed change gear is controlled in a prescribed ways on the basis of one signal free from anomaly independently of the other signal in anomaly. Therefore, even in case of anomaly, the speed change ratio control state suitable for the actual use can be obtained according to the engine load or the engine revolution number, and a fundamental traveling is permitted without generating the sharp engine brake state, engine overrun state, etc. |
