PURPOSE:To reduce sufficiently the variance of frequency fluctuation between intermediate frequency signals at the reception section of a repeater used for a multi-beam satellite communication system. CONSTITUTION:A signal of the 1st oscillator 29 and a signal of the 2nd oscillators 30-33 are mixed by mixers 25b-28b, from which local oscillation signals are formed respectively. Each reception signal is mixed by mixing tubes 25a- 28a, where the signal is converted into an intermediate frequency signal. Since the fluctuation of the intermediate frequency signal is dependent on the local oscillation signal, the frequency fluctuation of the oscillator 29 with a large frequency fluctuation appears in each intermediate frequency signal. Thus, the variance in the frequency fluctuation of each intermediate frequency signal is less. |
