<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the total tape winding angle to inclined guide post only by selecting the directions and angles of these inclinded guide posts and to obtain a magnetic tape guiding device reduced at its frictional load by arranging an inclinded guide post group consisting of plural inclined guide posts between a guide post on the tape loading side near a drum and the drum symmetically to the other inclinded guide post arranged between the drum and a guide post on the tape unloading side. CONSTITUTION:Plural, e.g. a pair of, inclined guide posts 19, 20 are arranged between the guide post 8 on the tape loading side and the drum 10 and plural, e.g. a pair of, inclined guide posts 21, 22 are arranged between the drum 10 and the guide post 12 on the tape unloading side symmetrically to said tape loading side guide posts. Namely, prescribed tape 3 loading and winding angles to/around the drum 10 are obtained by the inclined guide posts 19, 20 and 21, 22 and these guide posts are inclined in the prescribed directions by the prescribed angles so that the tape 3 is stably travelled without twist. Thus, the total tape winding angle to the inclined guide posts 19, 20 can be reduced.</p> |
