PURPOSE:To control the inclination of an optical axis in the tangential direction detecting the inclination of the optical axis of a detecting beam in the tangential direction to the surface of a disc, driving a driving means and turning a control member. CONSTITUTION:If a difference is generated in a detected output from a detector 30, a control signal is supplied to a driving motor 25. A worm gear 23 is rotated in one direction by a worm 26 fitted to an output shaft of a driving motor controlled at its driving by a tangential shew servo device 16. When a bearing 19 is rotated around the rotational center X2 of the worm gear 23 in accordance with the turning of the worm gear 23, an optical pickup 7 is turned around one shaft 12 out of parallel guide shafts 11, 12, so that the inclination of the incident light axis of laser beams in the tangential direction to the recording surface of an optical disc 5 is controlled. |
