PURPOSE:To connect a noise reduction circuit automatically with reproducing head and to prevent malfunction without using manual operation by recording a selection signal from the noise reduction circuit in a recording medium automatically at the time of recording, and the reproducing time, detecting the recorded selection signal. CONSTITUTION:When a required noise reduction circuit system is selected by an alteration switch 19 for selecting the noise reduction circuit, a signal is outputted from a selection signal/switching control signal generating circuit 16 to a selection signal output line 17 and recorded. The signal recorded in a magnetic tape is amplified by a reproducing system amplifier 9 through a reproducing head 8. The selection signal inputted to a reproduced selection signal input line 23 is guided to a selection signal detecting circuit 21 and an automatic switching control signal is generated by an automatic switching control circuit 22 in the reproducing system and inputted to an automatic switching circuit 20 in the reproducing system through an automatic switching control signal output line 24 in the reproducing system. Thus, the noise reduction circuit to be selected is automatically selected by the automatic switching circuit 20. |
