PURPOSE:To keep the continuity of reproducing information before and after temporay stop by holding a tracking control voltage at the start of a temporary stop mode, and at the release of the temporary stop mode, applying the held voltage to a tracking control means. CONSTITUTION:When an initial disc specifying rotational position signal S is generated from a photosensor 11 at a time t2, the signal Si is supplied to a control circuit 23, an analog switch A is instantaneously closed and the tracking control voltage at that time is held in a capacitor 24. At the generation of the signal S from the photosensor 11 at a time t4, the control circuit 23 is driven in response to the signal S, a switch SW2 is opened by the output of the control circuit 23 and a switch SW1 is closed, so that a normal tracking servo system is turned to the working state. Mamely, the tracking control voltage held by the capacitor 24 is applied to a tracking control coil 12 at the release of the temporary stop, and from this state, the normal tracking servo is started. |
