PURPOSE:To prevent wear of the outer concrete wall surface of a concrete structure installed on the sea bottom by covering said surface with fender boards hindering direct contact between said surface and blocks of sea floating on the sea. CONSTITUTION:The fender boards 9 consisting of metal plates 9a are fixed by bolts around the outer surface 7 of the outer wall 5 of the concrete structure 1 installed on the sea bottom 3 of icy waters. Thus, the surface 7 is prevented from wearing as the direct contact between the surface 7 and blocks of sea ice floating on the sea is hindered. |
