Stratified article composed of two, three, four or more metallic sheets which contain aluminium. The metallic sheets which may be made, for example, from an aluminium alloy, are joined together by means of layers of adhesive. The layers of adhesive, which are made from a heat-curable material, have encrusted in them paraphenylene polyterephthalamide threads made by spinning and composed of endless filaments which are in a practically straight line in the adhesive which consists substantially of a heat-curable material. The layers of adhesive contain the threads in a proportion of 20 to 80% by weight. |
