摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent fuel injection from going to the maximum, in a solenoid spill type distribution fuel injection pump, by controlling fuel injection on the bases of fuel injection starting time upon fault of firing timing sensor. CONSTITUTION:Feul injection control method for electronically controlled Diesel engine includes step for detecting the fuel injection starting time from the rotary angle of roller ring, step for controlling fuel injection on the basis of firing timing upon occurrence of firing timing signal from firing timing sensor within setting interval from the start of injection and step for controlling fuel injection on the basis of fuel injection starting time in place of firing timing upon occurence of no firing timing signal within setting interval. When controlling fuel injection on the basis of fuel injection starting time, conventional firing delay time is added to perform normal fuel injection control even upon fault of firing timing sensor.</p>
