The telescopic tube assembly comprises an inner tube (4) and an outer tube (3) which, in the region of overlap, are non-rotatable and play- free relative to each other, and are mounted slidably on the longitudinal axis of the telescopic tube assembly. In the process for producing the sliding connection between the inner tube (4) and the outer tube (3) of the telescopic assembly, the inner tube (4) is introduced into a mould and at least one slide bush (5) of plastics material or metal is injected or cast around the inner tube. After the slide bush (5) hardens, the outer tube (3) is form- lockingly formed onto the slide bush (5). <IMAGE> |
