PURPOSE:To obtain a latch circuit possible for miniaturization of circuit with high speed by providing at least one read circuit to other end of a Josephson junction so as to form a loop including the Josephson junction and an inductance of the read circuit. CONSTITUTION:This circuit has the Josephson junction having a critical current I0 and the Josephson junctions 33, 34, 35 having a critical current I1 have inductances 31, 32 respectively. In flowing a signal current positively to a data line 36 or a latch enable signal line 37, the operating point of the Josephson junction 30 is moved and in cutting off both the currents succeedingly, the operating point is moved further and this state is corresponded to ''1'' of binary number. When only a latch enable signal current is inputted, the operating point is moved by cutting of the latch enable signal current at the end of a clock cycle and the state corresponds to ''0'' of binary number. Whether or not a data signal is written in the preceding clock cycle is discriminated by the transition of the voltage of the read gate circuit. |
