The apparatus for hanging up workpieces for spraying, which is fastened by means of a square base plate (12) on the ceiling (10), can be adjusted in stages to the height of the horizontal tubes provided for attaching the workpieces fastened on hooks, and consequently can be adapted to the physical height of the worker. The width of this suspension can be adjusted to the dimensions of the workpiece to be sprayed by means of extendable horizontal inner tubes (32). The free rotatability of the lower part of the apparatus with the workpiece allows on the one hand better spraying quality with little work effort and on the other hand increased hygiene in the workplace. <IMAGE>
