PURPOSE:To start a copying mechanism in an early time and to reduce the time for discharging the 1st copy by putting the copying mechanism into a stable operation on the basis of the point of the time when an original is detected at the original insertion plate of a path for circulating and conveying the original. CONSTITUTION:An original plate sensor 10 is provided to an original insertion plate 1 of a path for circulating and conveying an original and a copying mechanism enters stable operation on the basis of the point of the time when the original is detected by such sensor 10. Since the timing is controlled on the basis of the period earlier than the point of the time when the original is detected by a feed sensor 7, etc. and therefore the time for discharging the 1st copy is shortened by starting the copying mechanism in the early period without the need for stopping temporarily the conveyance of the original, etc. |
