PURPOSE:To form images efficiently and quickly without bad influences upon worker's eyes by detecting the quantity of light after flash exposure to switch an original press-fixing plate to the open state. CONSTITUTION:When an original 6 is placed on a platen glass 2 and a start switch 12 on an operation panel 11 is operated, a platen cover 4 of the original press-fixing plate is closed through a cover driving motor. If it is detected by a photosensor 10 that the quantity of light of flash exposure after exposure of the original 6 is reduced to such level that the light does not dazzle the worker, the logic of the output of a monostable multivibrator based on the detection output is operated, and the cover driving motor is switched to the reverse state through a relay or the like. Thus, images are formed efficiently and quickly without bad influences upon worker's eyes. |
