PURPOSE:To improve leakage detecting performance of liquid metal, by correcting the change in differential pressure before and after an arresting filter due to the fluctuation in sampling flow rate. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of the following parts: a sampling pipe 1, which guides atmospheric gas in a leaking part of liquid metal; a sampling pump 3, which sucks the atmospheric gas; a filter 2, which arrests leaking metal aerosol included in the atmospheric gas; a differential pressure detector 4, which measures the differential pressure before and after the filter 2; a correcting filter 6, which is provided between the filter 2 and the pump 3; a differential detector 7, which measures the pressure difference before and after the filter 56; and a leakage judging device 5, which judges the leakage based on the signals from the detectors 4 and 7. In this constitution, the difference between the output dp of the detector 4 and the output dpR of the detector 7 is obtained. Then the evaluation of the change in differential pressure of the arresting filter 2 can be performed based only on the leaking metal aerosol. The leakage can be judged regardless of the change in fluctuation of the sampling flow rate of the differential pressure before and after the filter 2. |
