<p>The self-propelled tractor is particularly for travelling over and working on vertical walls and ceilings e.g. in ships tanks and has a frame with crawler tracks equipped with suction cups or magnets, also a mounting for tools or cleaning equipment such as spray guns etc. The tracks (12 are secured to the frame by hinge pins (9), whose axes run in the lengthwise direction of the tractor, and they can be of flexible material, the suction cups or magnets being arranged in two or more rows on each track. The top run in each track can be run as close as possible to the bottom in between the end rollers.</p> |
