PURPOSE:To measure the energy change in a very short time when a material to be tested is fractured and to perform analysis of physical property at a high degree, by providing a piezoelectric sensor comprising a macromolecular piezoelectric film and an inertial weight body at the back surface of an impact blade. CONSTITUTION:In this impact tester 1, a macromolecular piezoelectric film 6 is attached to the back surface of an impact blade (weight) 3 of an impact testing hammer 2, an inertial weight body 7 is attached to the back surface of the film 6, and a piezoelectric sensor 5 is formed by said film 6 and the inertial weight body 7. When an edge 4 of the impact blade 3 hits a material to be tested 10, an impact action can be applied to the piezoelectric film 6 by the inertial force of the inertial weight body 7. Even though the material to be tested 10 has a complicated structure such as an organic compound, the energy change in a very short time when the material is fractured can be measured. By adding a measuring device using a computer, high degree analysis of physical property can be performed. |
