PURPOSE:To place an original in an exposure position on an original placing member easily and accurately when the original is placed manually, by providing an original positioning member which can be projected from and drawn back to the surface of the original placing member and providing an original size display on the surface of the original positioning member. CONSTITUTION:An original stopping means 104 which stops the carried original in a prescribed position on a platen glass 204 to expose the original to light is so provided that it can be projected from and drawn back to the surface of the platen glass 204. When an operator detaches an original carrying device from the surface of the platen glass 204 and places directly the original on the surface of the platen glass 204 manually, he brings the front end of the original into contact with a positioning part 104a and positions the original on a basis of a size display sticker 104B, which is stuck to the upper face of a positioning member 104, with respect to the breadthwise direction and places the original in an exposure position Q1. |
