PURPOSE:To obtain an analytical method and apparatus excellent in economical efficiency and operability without using immobilized enzyme, by subjecting a specimen to liquid phase chromatograph analysis while separating the same by a moving liquid phase. CONSTITUTION:The specimen injected from a specimen injection part is introduced into a column 4 by a moving liquid phase. The fatty acid component in the specimen is separated in the column 4 and the other components are eluted in an unseparated state but the separated fatty acid component is eluted first of all and detected by a detector 5. A valve 6 is preliminarily set to a dotted line state at first and changed over to a solid line state after the elution time of fatty acid is elapsed while the unanalyzed eluate is sent to an evaporation chamber 7. A heater h2 is controlled so as to set the temp. of evaporation chamber 7 to about 150 deg.C while a heater h3 is controlled so as to set the temp. of a column 9 to about 150 deg.C. By this method, the evaporated specimen is sent to the column 9 by carrier gas and gas chromatograph analysis is performed to analyze cholesterol. |
