PURPOSE:To protect operator's eyes from the reflected light from a stage and secure a visual field for a screen by providing a shielding member in the side of the stage so that this member can be used as a supporting member of a head part. CONSTITUTION:When an overhead projector is not used, a cover part root part 15a and a cover body front end part 15b of a cover body 15 are arranged in a line, and a head 23 is stored on the inside of them and is put on them. When the overhead projector is used, the cover body 15 is turned with a hinge 14 or the like as a fulcrum and is opened at a prescribed angle to a case 13, and the front end part 15b is turned outward with a hinge 16 or the like as a fulcrum to the cover body root part 15a, and the head 23 connected to the other end part of a supporting member 17 attached to the cover body root part 15 is turned at a prescribed angle with a supporting shaft 18 as a fulcrum and is fixed.
