EMERGENCY PLANT STOP CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent a transient response during the abrupt tripping of a plant and equipment and to eliminate evil influence upon the plant by stopping the plant stepwise according to a trip factor when the trip factor occurs to the plant and plant equipment. CONSTITUTION:A signal (ai) warning various kinds of abnormality is inputted from the plant 3, and an abnormality signal discriminator 1 outputs a trip signal Ti for the plant or various equipment. A program stop controller 2 outputs an equipment stop control signal Ci according to a determined program without making a plant or plant response excessive nor spoiling the soundness of equipment itself. The program is read out of a program storage device 4 to the program stop controller 2 according to the trip signal Ti to determine the timing of the output of the control signal Ci.
