The element is comprised of a segment from which are created sub-assemblies which are more or less complex, having a polygonal planar shape and of which the angles are only 60 and/or 120 degrees. A triangular sub-assembly is equilateral and each of its three sides (1) has two small faces respectively (3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8) which converge at right angle towards a line external to the polygon, respectively (10, 11 and 12) which forms here a continuous ridge. The small faces (3, 5 and 7) are connected on the bisector plane Po of the angles (2) of the sub-assembly and form together an angle A of 90 degrees. The faces (4, 6 and 8) are also connected along the bisector plane Po of the angles (2) but form together an angle B of 120 degrees. The sub-assembly is intended to be assembled to other similar or different sub-assemblies (4) to independent elements by all kinds of known means. By placing against each other two faces either of the type (3, 5 or 7), or of the type (4, 6 or 8), there is obtained in the first case, a structure from pyramids with square bases and in the second case a structure from tetrahedrons, those two types of volumes being moreover compatible according to an infinity of combinations.
