PURPOSE:To simplify structure and improve the reliability of operation by utilizing the power on a machine side as the driving source of an elevation mechanism through a plurality of clutches, in the captioned apparatus equipped with a sheet loading base raised by the elevation mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A clutch pulley 33 to which the turning moment of a pulley which is always in revolution state in the revolution-driving system such as the photosensitive body of a copying machine, etc. is transmitted through a belt 35 is installed onto the edge part of the driving shaft axially supported onto the apparatus body side. The revolution of the pulley 33 is transmitted to a pulley 51 through gears 34 and 39, spring clutch 41, pulley 40, and a belt 52, and further transmitted to the driving sprocket 9 of an elevation mechanism through a unidirectional drive transmitting spring clutch 56 and an engagement clutch 59. Therefore, a sheet loading base is raised through a chain. The spring clutch 41 is put into cut-off state when the height of rise of the loaded sheet reaches a prescribed position, and a hook lever 44 is engaged with the spring clutch 41 through a lever. |
