PURPOSE:To raise greatly the durability of a burner chamber as well as to enhance the efficiency of heating by a method in which a burner chamber is set in a dipped manner in a tank storing a fluid to be heated in such a way as to enable the burner chamber to be sufficiently cooled. CONSTITUTION:In a boiler having a burner chamber 3 and a heat exchanger to heat a fluid to be heated by the combustion gas of the burner 1, a tank 6 capable of storing the fluid coming back from the heat exchanger 5 and also of circulating the fluid stored to the exchanger 5 is provided. The burner chamber 3 is dipped in the fluid stored in the tank 6 where heat exchange is always directly performed between all surface of the wall of the chamber 3 and the fluid to be heated. Excellent cooling effect can thus be exhibited, the durability of the chamber 3 can be greatly improved, and the efficiency of heating can be enhanced. |
