摘要 A gas-bubble brick for metallurgical vessels consists of a gas-permeable moulded brick (2) which can be inserted into the wall or the bottom of the vessel and has a gas-tight partial facing which is welded together from a sheet metal shell (3) extending around the lateral peripheral surface of the moulded brick and from a sheet metal cover (4) covering the outer end face of the moulded brick (2), and of a gas supply pipe (8) which is welded to the rim of a central gas inlet orifice (6) of the sheet metal cover (4). To obtain a controlled gas distribution over the entire outer end face of the bubble brick and a substantially parallel gas flow in the bubble brick, gas passages (15) which connect the central gas inlet orifice (6) to radially outward regions of the outer end face of the moulded brick (2) are provided at least in part regions between the outer end face of the moulded brick (2) and the sheet metal cover (4). The gas passages are formed by gaps between spacers (12) which extend in the radial direction of the moulded brick and are formed as indented beads. The sheet metal cover (4) is of slightly conical shape. <IMAGE>
