UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION APPARATUS OF TITANIUM CHIP FOR RE-MELTING

PURPOSE:To uniformly mix and distribute titanium chips at every lot, by a method wherein a large number of various titanium chips are classified as one lot at every generating place and time and each lot is mixed and uniformized in a mixing apparatus and uniformly distributed to drums in one group while re- distributed to a distribution apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A mixing apparatus 1 for mixing one lot of titanium chips is provided and a carrying-up apparatus 6 for conveying a titanium chip mixture from said apparatus 1 to the hopper 9, provided to the central part above a distribution apparatus 7, is provided. In addition, a turntable 10 partially rotatable around a center vertical axial line provided in a stoppable state is provided below the distribution apparatus 7 and a predetermined number of drums 13 are arranged on said turntable 10 in a circular line by the cooperation with a carry- in and carry-out apparatus. A doughnut shaped fixed chute 15 is provided above the drums 13 and a supply port is opened to said chute at a position corresponding to the stop position of each drum 13. The inclined distribution pipe 17 directed to the fixed chute 15 from the hopper 9 is made revolvable around the center vertical axial line.
