The invention relates to an electrical circuit for the power supply of two heating resistors which are arranged between the two terminals of an AC voltage source and can be switched via switches, and of a fan motor which is connected via a rectifier circuit between two voltage taps to the two heating resistors. The two heating resistors are connected in series. A branch line having a dedicated switch is connected from the one terminal of the AC source allocated to the first heating resistor, to a point between the first and second heating resistors, thus, as it were, halving the total resistance, so that the total resistance acts for a first operating step, and only the second heating resistor acts for a second operating step in order to double the power. In consequence, heating resistors of relatively small size can be used. <IMAGE>
