Known transportable shooting ranges, especially those for shooting with air-pressure weapons at a range of 10 metres, consist of a sectional rail which is placed on stands between the firing position and the target and in which slides by means of a guide a carriage which carries the target-disc support and which can be moved by means of a pull rope likewise accommodated in the sectional rail. This known version is difficult to produce and is susceptible to faults and expensive. The invention provides a virtually fault-free shooting range of this type which can also be produced cheaply. It is characterised in that the rail placed on the stands is formed by a non-buckling tube, especially by a plastic installation tube, on which are arranged on both sides at a short distance from one another guides, which can be formed from guide ropes or rectangular rails standing on edge, for a carriage displaceable on the guides by means of an endless pull rope, the target-disc carrier being mounted on the carriage. A range which can be produced especially cheaply is characterised in that the deflecting wheels for the pull rope are arranged with a vertical axis in the plastic tube, so that the strands running forwards and backwards can run on both sides of the plastic tube and can thus serve as guides for the carriage which, moreover, is also equipped with a sliding face which is supported on the tube.
